Frequently asked questions about RezeptSuite Desktop
Does the trial version expire?
No. The trial version has no time limit and can be installed on any number of computers. It is limited to 2 categories with 20 recipes each.
How do I receive the full version?
After purchase, you receive a personal download link for the full version by email – immediately with PayPal or after payment is received by bank transfer. The download link is available for a limited time. Download the full version promptly and keep a backup copy for future installations; there is no licence key.
How many computers can I use the full version on?
For one installation. If you need it on additional computers, increase the quantity at checkout. Business installations can share a database over a network.
Do I need the Personal or Business version?
Personal (€19) is for private use at home. If you use RezeptSuite professionally – in a restaurant, cookery school or nutritional counselling practice – Business (€49) is the right version. It can also access a shared database over a network, such as on a NAS.
Can I transfer my collection to a new computer?
Yes. Create a backup of your collection in RezeptSuite Desktop, install the full version on the new computer from your saved copy, then restore the collection backup there.
Do I need a Cloud account or RezeptSuite Plus?
Not for recipe management: RezeptSuite Desktop works entirely with a local database, including offline, and imports recipe files without an account.
